Line Editing

Your manuscript has undergone developmental editing and you are happy with the content

You want a reader's perspective on how easy it is to read and follow along
You are ready to send it to publisher or resubmit to journal

You need to reduce the length without removing large sections

Is the tone of manuscript consistently engaging throughout?

Are the word choices apt and free of fluff, bias, and jargon?

Are there places to address complexity, verbosity, or abstraction?

Are sentences and paragraphs built for progression - taking the reader along?

Manuscript revision:

Inline updates (MS Word with track changes) for improved flow, consistency, and coherence

Extensive inline comments alongside the updates for open questions or alternative proposals

NOT included: heavy copyediting (abbreviations, capitalizations, numbers, fact checking etc.)
